ERD’S NOAH’S ARK CAMPAIGN A SUCCESS
All Saints' parish has collected $1,316.00 Episcopal Relief and Development to purchase animals for needy villages throughout the world. Some of the funds collected specified which animal would be purchased, but the rest of the funds were divided up by the Youth Group with the following breakdown:
10 shares of fish $250.00
1 buffalo $250.00
3 goats $240.00
2 colonies of bees $110.00
1 flock of chickens $135.00
2 pigs $200.00
with a remaining amount of $131.00 which will go to purchase seeds for farming, mosquito netting to prevent malaria and other necessities for undeveloped villages. In thanksgiving for the generosity of ERD towards the Diocese of Louisiana after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the people at All Saints' are now able to give back to help others around the globe.
