JOHN PALMER BRINGS NEW LIFE TO RIDGE TILES RAVAGED BY KATRINA
Artist John Palmer presents his "resurrected" ridge tile from Morris Hall to Mother Davidson and Senior Warden John Odell. On the back of the tile is printed the legend: "This ridge tile is from the roof of Morris Hall, All Saints' Episcopal Church, River Ridge, which was damaged by Hurricane Katrina August 29, 2005. I prayerfully present it to All Saints' Church, April 11, 2007," signed John H. Palmer.
The three pictures on the right, taken shortly after Katrina, depict the damage inflicted to Morris Hall by the ravaging storm.
